We're offering to pay the Council Tax for our staff!
We’ve launched a new incentive scheme in a bid to aid the cost of living crisis for our employees, all while improving business operations.
Head of People, Ellis Jackson said: “We’re always looking for new and better ways to do business either by reducing costs, increasing efficiency and improve our growth and we greatly value every employee and their contribution to our success.”
Calling for the best ideas…
We’ve asked our team members to brainstorm ideas of how they can do things a little differently to improve the business’ services, processes or increase the group’s customer base. The best four ideas will be shortlisted to be presented, and a winning idea will be chosen and implemented.
As part of the application, colleagues will need to highlight any additional resources required and an outline of the project’s time frame.
Ellis continued: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for our colleagues to shine and really make a difference to working life within the Group and its businesses. We value our employees and want them to know their opinions are respected by covering their Council Tax cost for twelve months.”
We’re committed to seeing the ideas through
The Group’s senior team will work closely with the winner to ensure the proposed plans come together, which will provide a valuable progression opportunity for the individual, along with making a tangible difference to the business.
Group CEO, Carl Boulton posted on LinkedIn about the move to support employees: “To move forward you need momentum, to create momentum you need to be innovative, creative and passionate about your beliefs.
“But for me personally, I look forward to knowing someone’s council tax will be paid for a full year, taking away that financial burden for them.
“We may possibly push this idea out to everyone later this year, but for now, it’s over to our internal staff. I look forward to hearing all their ideas and choosing someone to push forward their idea.”
For colleagues that do not pay Council Tax, £100 will be paid alongside their salary for the duration of the incentive.t
