Q: Where can holidaymakers stay in the local area?
A: Families and couples looking to stay in Cheshire tend to be attracted towards larger cities and towns within the county. For those looking for peace and tranquillity, our 17 en-suite rooms and two large suites will provide our guests with a luxurious but comfortable stay.
For people staying the night, we have a variety of service options available. Everyone staying in the hotel can have a fantastic breakfast in the morning, any business customers can use our conference area if needed. Children and well-behaved dogs are more than welcome in our hotel.
Q: Where should people who want to enjoy live music head to?
A: There’s no need to look further afield for a great night out, as the White Lion hosts numerous live music events on the weekend, courtesy of our excellent beer garden and bar area. A variety of music tastes and genres will be given centre stage, including contemporary acoustic, jazz and reggae.
On Fridays, we have a string quartet and singers performing in the restaurant, creating a relaxing, romantic atmosphere perfect for couples. On Saturdays, we have a very lively jazz band playing for customers who want to enjoy a fun, engaging atmosphere.
Q: What does the Weston area have to offer to visitors?
A: There is plenty in and around Weston to interest our customers. Many of our guests can’t wait to explore nearby Chester Zoo, or go and watch a race up at Oulton Park Circuit.
In addition to running the White Lion pub, we have established a concierge events business that has forged relationships with other nearby organisations. As well as being able to host weddings and other large-scale events at the White Lion, we can aid with travel routes and overnight stays.
